I’m bringing the ‘Misfit Toy Tribe’ together for a good cause! We’ll be dashing down the streets of Northalsted in barely nothing, as part of the annual Santa Speedo Run Northalsted to raise money to support Center on Halsted's work advancing the health and wellbeing of Chicago's LGBTQ community. The Misfit Toy Tribe will be, along with hundreds of other participants, making the one-mile run in the freezing cold through the heart of Lakeview, clad in nothing more than Santa hats, speedos and other holiday attire. Last year's event raised over $100,000 for Center on Halsted's behavioral health, HIV testing and prevention, anti-violence, youth and seniors, and community and cultural programs and services.
